Bad Company was founded by two friends who longed for the common need of collaborative space. 

The pursuit, create a community focused workspace that offered coworking and collaboration with other like-minded creators, enhancing each others offering and providing support for new businesses. Afternoon banter is an added bonus. 

After searching in the beachside town Mount Maunganui – the perfect venue was discovered. But there was a long way to go before Bad Company would become a vibrant workspace.

A fair few hours were spent sanding, painting and debriefing at the pub after long days.

With a crew of dedicated hands, Bad Company was born over the season of a hot Mount summer, turning the space into a light-filled, functionally designed shared space. 

Today we house a variety of experts in their field from graphic designers, web developers, e-commerce, marketers and fashion designers.

Bad Company offers an interactive place to work for those who working remotely but do not want to be confined to their home. It houses a great sense of community and fosters mutually beneficial relationships.
